What is Entrupy?

Entrupy is an authentication system for luxury goods based on microscopic imaging and artificial intelligence. A device photographs the material, stitching, hardware and markings at very high magnification, then compares these images with a database of millions of authentic pieces and counterfeits. Entrupy states an accuracy above 99% and backs every certificate with a financial guarantee. Many luxury resellers and consignment stores use it. You may see it written as "Entropy", "Entropie" or "Antropi": it is the same Entrupy.

This is the most common case. Peer-to-peer platforms do not guarantee authenticity, and a photo is not enough to decide. The service gives you a clear answer, with a document you can present when reselling or to your insurer. If you are still within the platform's withdrawal period, have the piece authenticated before it expires.

What is the difference with the €20 Entrupy certificate?

The €20 certificate accompanies a piece bought from Le Comptoir Vintage, which we have already inspected. This service is for pieces bought elsewhere and includes round-trip shipping, physical inspection and Entrupy analysis.
